Code of Conduct.

Clear community, gameplay, building, store, and enforcement rules for the Lusty Looters cluster.

LUSTY LOOTERS | CODE OF CONDUCT

These rules apply across the Lusty Looters ARK cluster, Discord community, player support spaces, and related player services. They are intended to keep the cluster fair, usable, and enjoyable while giving staff clear authority to respond when conduct harms the community or server.

These rules must be read together with the Legal Notice. The Legal Notice explains service access, availability, privacy, store terms, digital items, logs, moderation records, gameplay loss, and final management authority.

โš ๏ธ

PvE does not mean consequence free interference. PvP style actions that harass players, obstruct progress, steal an active opportunity, create avoidable loss, or give an unfair advantage may still be treated as rule violations.

โš–๏ธ

Play Fair

Do not grief, exploit, interfere with others, or create an unfair advantage.

๐Ÿ๏ธ

Keep Spawn Clear

Starter beaches and high traffic entry areas must stay usable for new players.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ

Build Responsibly

Do not block content, abuse decay, or create avoidable server strain.

๐Ÿงพ

Store Rules Still Apply

Purchases and rewards do not exempt items, tames, or players from enforcement.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Respect Staff Process

Use tickets for disputes, reports, appeals, and purchase or delivery reviews.

ยง

Rules Are Not Loopholes

Examples are not exhaustive. Harmful conduct may still be acted on.

Legal Notice

The Legal Notice forms part of the Lusty Looters rules. It covers access, privacy, moderation records, payments, consumer notices, digital item limits, gameplay loss, and final authority. Non excludable legal rights still apply where required.

I

SECTION I: COMMUNITY & DISCORD CONDUCT

1.1 Respectful Conduct

1.1.1

Hate speech, targeted harassment, slurs, threats, intimidation, and defamation are not tolerated.

1.1.2

Trolling, baiting, repeated disruption, or deliberately creating conflict may result in moderation action.

1.2 Accessibility & Communication Respect

1.2.1

Do not mock, pressure, rush, imitate, or belittle anyone for speech delays, cognitive difficulties, disability, age, accent, typing style, edited messages, voice chat avoidance, or using tools to help communicate.

1.2.2

Voice chat is optional unless staff clearly require it for a specific event. Players who prefer text must be respected, and groups should allow reasonable time for people to respond.

1.2.3

Players are not required to explain medical, disability, personal, or family circumstances. Shared personal information must not be used for gossip, harassment, or public shaming.

1.3 Content Restrictions

1.3.1

NSFW, shock, illegal, or intentionally disturbing content is prohibited.

1.3.2

Do not post, threaten to post, or encourage the sharing of private personal information about another player or staff member.

1.4 Channel Use

1.4.1

Channels must be used for their intended purpose.

1.4.2

Do not derail support spaces, misuse tickets, or flood conversations in ways that prevent others from being helped.

1.5 Spam, Promotion & Mass Pings

1.5.1

No unsolicited advertising, invite links, excessive pinging, emoji spam, or link flooding.

1.6 Moderator Respect

1.6.1

Do not argue moderation decisions in public channels. Use tickets for clarification, disputes, or appeals.

II

SECTION II: FAIR PLAY & PLAYER CONDUCT

2.1 Griefing & PvE Interference

2.1.1

Griefing is prohibited. This includes trapping, boxing, blocking progress, restricting access, or intentionally creating avoidable loss for another player.

2.1.2

PvP style actions in a PvE cluster may still be punished. Examples include flyer pickups, drowning players or tames, luring wild creatures into players or bases, and similar interference.

2.2 Taming, Bait & Trap Interference

2.2.1

Do not kill passive tames, interfere with an active tame attempt, steal bait, grief traps, or kite wild creatures into a player, tame, trap, or base to disrupt progress.

2.3 Exploits, Tools & Unintended Mechanics

2.3.1

No ESP, macros, bots, automation tools, or third party tools that create an unfair advantage or bypass normal gameplay.

2.3.2

Known bugs, broken mechanics, or unintended systems must be reported, not exploited.

2.4 Names, Impersonation & Misrepresentation

2.4.1

Do not impersonate staff or present yourself as acting on behalf of Lusty Looters when you are not authorised to do so.

2.4.2

Offensive, political, intentionally inflammatory, or troll player and tribe names are not permitted.

III

SECTION III: BASES, BUILDING & SPAWN AREAS

3.1 Restricted Building

3.1.1

Do not build in artifact caves, mission zones, meshable areas, or any other area where building creates unfair control, blocks progression, or risks technical issues.

3.2 Obstruction, Spam & Performance Heavy Builds

3.2.1

Excessive foundation spam, obstructive structures, and builds that create unreasonable server or client performance issues are not allowed.

3.2.2

Staff may require changes or remove problematic structures where necessary to protect access, stability, or performance.

3.3 Inactive Bases & Decay Abuse

3.3.1

Bases inactive for 30 days are considered abandoned and may be cleared at staff discretion.

3.3.2

Exploiting, blocking, or artificially extending decay to retain abandoned structures is not allowed.

3.4 Spawn Beach & Starter Area Cleanup

3.4.1

Starter kit dinos left unattended on spawn beaches or similar starter areas may be removed during routine cleanup.

3.4.2

Characters logged out on spawn beaches or other high traffic starter areas may be wiped during routine cleanup unless they are inside a structure.

3.4.3

The structure exemption applies only to this character cleanup rule. It does not protect a base, structure, or player from separate action if another rule is breached.

3.4.4

Routine cleanup may occur without individual notice when needed to keep starter areas clear and usable.

3.5 Temporary Traps & Old Structures

3.5.1

Temporary traps, taming pens, small outposts, spam structures, and other short term builds must be removed once they are no longer being used.

3.5.2

Do not leave traps, gates, foundations, pillars, beds, boxes, or other temporary structures around the map after use.

3.5.3

Temporary or abandoned structures may be removed without notice if they block access, clutter the map, affect spawns, block resources, interfere with explorer notes, caves, terminals, obelisks, or normal player movement.

3.5.4

If you are unsure whether a structure or tribe is still active, open a Traps and Base Activity Check ticket with the server, location, tribe or player name if known, and screenshots where possible.

3.5.5

Repeatedly leaving traps or old structures around the map may result in a warning, cleanup action, or further staff action.

TEMP

TEMPORARY DECAYED STRUCTURE DEMOLITION

Temporary Decayed Structure Demolition Rule

T.1

Until a new decay system is finalised, players may only demolish another player's decayed structures after staff have confirmed inside a ticket that the structures are decayed and eligible to be removed.

T.2

Players must open a ticket first and provide the map, location, tribe or player name if visible, and screenshots where possible.

T.3

Staff approval applies only to the structures, area, and situation confirmed in that ticket. Do not extend approval to nearby structures, containers, tames, or any other player property unless staff clearly confirm it.

T.4

Do not demolish another player's structures without staff confirmation, even if they appear abandoned, unlocked, or decayed. Unapproved demolition may be treated as griefing, theft, or unauthorised structure removal.

IV

SECTION IV: TAMES, TRAPS & PERFORMANCE

4.1 Dino Quantity & Server Performance

4.1.1

There is no set dino cap per tribe across the cluster.

4.1.2

However, if your tames are causing performance issues for the server or other players, you may be instructed to pod them using Cryo Balls or reduce the active number.

4.1.3

Refusal to comply may result in force removal of excess or unpodded tames by administrators.

4.2 Tame Exploits, Duplication & Improper Acquisition

4.2.1

Do not obtain, clone, duplicate, manipulate, or retain tames through exploits, bugs, unauthorised staff requests, or unintended systems.

4.2.2

Tames connected to prohibited conduct may be removed without compensation, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4.3 Trap Responsibility

4.3.1

Temporary traps must be used responsibly and should not be left in ways that block travel, taming access, or normal play.

4.3.2

Traps used to grief, obstruct, or interfere with others may be removed.

V

SECTION V: STORE, REWARDS & DIGITAL ITEMS

5.1 Purchases Do Not Override Rules

5.1.1

Store purchases, supporter perks, rewards, vote benefits, and other digital items do not exempt a player, tame, item, or structure from these rules, balance changes, or necessary enforcement.

5.1.2

The Legal Notice further explains payment handling, digital item limits, service changes, and management authority.

5.2 Use of Webstore Items

5.2.1

All webstore items must be used exactly as delivered.

5.2.2

Items not provided as blueprints may not be converted, transferred, copied, or recreated as blueprints in any form.

5.3 Monitoring, Tracking & Review

5.3.1

Saddle, blueprint, delivery, reward, and related activity may be tracked and reviewed where needed for support, moderation, fraud prevention, or rule enforcement.

5.3.2

Relevant activity may be reported to administrators for review in line with the Legal Notice on logs, moderation data, and backend records.

5.4 Purchased Creatures, Loss & Refund Limits

5.4.1

Creatures purchased through the webstore are treated the same as other in game creatures once delivered.

5.4.2

Death, loss, destruction, or removal caused by gameplay, player actions, PvE encounters, server mechanics, negligence, or rule violations is not automatically eligible for replacement, refund, or compensation.

5.4.3

Verified server side error, failed delivery, duplicate charge, or incorrect item delivery may be reviewed through official support.

5.4.4

Nothing in this rule is intended to limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law. See the Legal Notice for the full payment, refund, and consumer notice wording.

VI

SECTION VI: REPORTS, MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT

6.1 Reports, Tickets & Evidence Review

6.1.1

Use official tickets for reports, appeals, purchase issues, delivery issues, and requests for clarification.

6.1.2

Staff may review server logs, admin logs, Discord logs, website records, store records, delivery records, screenshots, clips, player reports, and backend tracking tools when investigating issues, consistent with the Legal Notice.

6.2 Rules Are Not Exhaustive

6.2.1

These rules list common and important examples, but they are not a loophole checklist.

6.2.2

Conduct that harms the cluster, community, economy, stability, performance, safety, services, or fair play may still be addressed at staff discretion.

6.3 Enforcement Outcomes

6.3.1

Depending on severity, context, and history, enforcement may include warnings, content removal, item removal, tame removal, structure removal, cleanup action, temporary restrictions, Discord action, store restrictions, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

6.3.2

Moderation action may occur with or without prior warning where the situation justifies it.

6.4 Appeals & Final Moderation Decisions

6.4.1

Appeals must be submitted through an official support ticket. Public channel disputes do not replace the appeal process.

6.4.2

Final moderation decisions are made by the Server Manager or Owner, subject to any legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

VII

SECTION VII: ADMINISTRATION STANDARDS

7.1 Neutral Use of Admin Tools

7.1.1

Admins are prohibited from using commands or tools to benefit themselves, their tribe, or personal progression.

7.1.2

Admin characters may exist within the cluster, but admin actions involving players, spawning, teleporting, item delivery, recovery, or moderation must serve a clear support or operational purpose and may be logged or reviewed.

7.2 Command Logging & Approval

7.2.1

Admin actions affecting players must be recorded where required by server process.

7.2.2

Major actions require approval from the Head Admin or Server Manager.

7.3 Conflicts of Interest

7.3.1

Admins should not moderate issues involving their own tribe, close friends, or alternate accounts where a conflict exists.

7.3.2

All alternate accounts must be declared.

BY USING LUSTY LOOTERS, YOU ACCEPT THESE RULES AND THE LEGAL NOTICE.

These rules apply across the cluster, Discord community, player support spaces, and related services where relevant. The Legal Notice applies alongside them and covers service access, availability, privacy, logs, payments, digital items, loss, and final service authority.

Server management reserves the right to interpret, enforce, update, or waive rules where needed to protect the cluster, players, economy, performance, safety, or services, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Rules and related service conditions may be updated when needed. Continued use of Lusty Looters after a change means the current version applies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
