The cluster's highest payout is reserved for its hardest elite tier. The reward is granted when a player lands the kill.
ARK: Survival Ascended · OCE PvE Cluster · Elite Hunts
Thirty-two individually configured, level 1,000 elites can appear across the cluster. Each species has a fixed combat effect, matching effect name and reward tier.
System Overview
There are 32 configured elite species. Each one has fixed stats, effect, announcements, reward tier and a one-per-species limit. Species with the same effect share its matching name.
Every configured creature is separate instead of sharing one generic elite entry.
A map can have up to four active elites in any combination of tiers.
Only one elite of the same species can be alive on a map at once.
All elite tiers deal ten times their original configured damage values.
One of the configured species appears at level 1,000 with its elite name, tier stats and applied combat effect.
ARK chat and Discord announce the spawn. Discord can show the creature, level, stats and coordinates.
Use the announcement location to track it down. Expect extreme damage and behaviour changed by its active effect.
A player kill is announced with the killer and location. Player kills award the tier payout and can also roll bonus loot.
All Elite Dinos
Hover over any species to see its tier, fixed name and effect, exact combat stats, payout and spawn details.
Elite Effects
Every species has one permanent effect. Once you know the dino, you know exactly what extra threat it brings.
The Nightmare effect surrounds the elite with dark smoke and gives it the Nightmare appearance.
The Radioactive effect surrounds the elite with ash and a radiation field. Bring hazard protection for close combat.
The Taser effect surrounds the elite with electric arcs. Its shock can dismount players and leave them exposed.
The Spectral effect gives the elite a ghost-like appearance, silent movement and immunity to fall damage.
The Burning effect damages nearby targets continuously and gives the elite increased resistance to fire.
The Rubber effect makes the elite bounce, removes fall damage and can reflect some incoming melee damage.
The Pygmy effect shrinks the creature and makes it faster and harder to hit without reducing its elite damage.
Elite Hunt Payouts
A player kill pays the tier bounty immediately. Bonus loot rolls separately from the active elite loot tables.
The cluster's highest payout is reserved for its hardest elite tier. The reward is granted when a player lands the kill.
Heavy ground tier
Flying threat tier
Fast hunter tier
A kill can also drop useful items from the active Lusty Elite and Cursed loot tables.
Elite alerts are sent through ARK chat and Discord, keeping the important hunt information visible without a large HUD pop-up.
Discord can include its species, name, level, stats and coordinates so hunters know what appeared and where to look.
The message names the killer, the elite and its death location. The tier bounty is paid in Gold Nuggets.
If the elite dies to the environment or another creature, ARK and Discord report the elite and its recorded location.
Check the tier and fixed effect, use the announced coordinates and prepare for a level 1,000 fight with 10× original damage. These are world bosses, not normal wild tames.
